We offer a kindergarten program catering for children in the year prior to Prep entry. We have four groups on offer each year. Families are able to choose longer days (a 2 day per week program running from 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday and Tuesday) or a shorter day option (3 day per week program running from 8.30am to 2.30pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
Set amongst the trees Emily Foord Memorial Kindergarten has been providing children with memorable childhood experiences for over 60 years. We are very fortunate to be situated in a cul-de-sac sharing our fence line with parkland. Our families come from the surrounding areas of Gordon Park, Grange, Kedron, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Wilston and Windsor.
The staff at Emily Foord have enjoyed a long association with the centre. Teaching staff hold university qualifictions and assistants all have a Certificate III in Early Childhood. In order to keep up to date with current best practice in early childhood, teachers each year engage in a myriad of professional development experiences. As a team, they are all very committed to their profession and to giving the best to the children in their care.
